These are two childhood books that I read from The Underland Chronicles by Suzanne Collins, and I redesigned the covers for the first and last books of the series. The design focused on contemporizing and making the books much more approachable and exciting to children in elementary school and young pre-teens. One thing I loved about books when I was a child was that you could look at a book cover and get lost in the imaginative world you create before even reading the book, and I really wanted to capture that vital experience in my book covers.
